Growing season :
The classic winter rest period for the vegetation with a short cold snap and quite dry periods in March.
The vines budded at the beginning of April, at a date corresponding to the average of the last thirty years. Light showers followed in succession and then sunny, hot spells throughout the period of vegetation. Strong threats of fungal diseases (powdery and downy mildew) which were nevertheless well kept under control. The flowering went ahead satisfactorily with peaks of blooming grouped tightly together.
The summer was quite hot, apart from August with average temperatures below the normal averages. High rainfall in September despite five days of heat wave at the beginning of the month. Having timed the sprays well and ventilated the plants correctly we were able to keep the vines of all the grape varieties in perfectly good health.

Harvest :
- From September 21 to 27 for the Merlot,
- October 2 and 3 for the Cabernets,
- Manual picking with sorting of grapes on a vibrating sorting before and after de-stemming.

- Plot by plot fermentation,
- Vatting period lasting 4 to 5 weeks, in temperature-controlled concrete vats (60 hl to 80 hl),
- Gentle and precise extraction,
- Regular tastings during the vinification with J-Ph Fort, the consultant œnologist of Laboratoire Rolland.
