Situation :
The vineyard is situated on a slope rising from 30 metres to as much as 110 metres above sea level. South-east to west facing.

Surface area :
37 hectares (91.39 acres).

Soil :
Plateau : limestone,
Mid-slope : clay,
Foot of slope : gravel.

Density of plantation :
5,500 plants per hectare.

Grape varieties :
- 70% Merlot,
- 20% Cabernet Franc,
- 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Average age of the vines :
44 years.

Yield :
28 hectolitres per hectare.

Vineyard management :
Environmentally-friendly sprays, low yields, crop thinning, de-leafing.

Growing season data :
- Flowering from May 28 to 31, 2007,
- Colour change of grapes from July 30 to August 3, 2007.

2007 Harvest :
October 8 : beginnings of the harvest.

Vinification :
Vatting period of 37 days, according to the plots, in twenty,
80 hectolitre oak vats,
Alcoholic fermentation in vats,
Malo-lactic fermentation in barrels,
Ageing in 70% new barrels and 30% first fill barrel.

Blending :
Identical to the mix of grape varieties.

Production :
Around 60,000 bottles.
Second wine.
